20 July 2011 Creative Industries iNet

July – Nov 2011: Enjoying the opportunity to plug into the Creative Industries iNet project and provide some extra support to the programme delivery team in Bristol as they gear up for phase 2. The CI iNet is “a £3.2 million programme of support that runs until 2013, to help creative businesses thrive and boost the South West’s growing reputation as a global creative hotspot. Working with emerging and established innovative companies, the CI iNet will develop bold products and business models, explore new opportunities and ideas, and provide those vital connections to bring together a community of local, national and global innovators.” As part of this I’ve been working to set up a Creative Business Mentoring Programme, based on NESTA’s top rated model, and an intensive Investment Readiness Programme for creative companies led by Pembridge Partners.
