Since 2003 I’ve worked with production companies, universities, colleges and the public sector to create specialist training programmes for people working in creative media – that includes TV, web, film, animation, photo imaging and design.
My work covers a broad spectrum: from traineeships that get newcomers started, to professional development for experienced practitioners; from standalone workshops, to recognised qualifications.
An established Digital Media Producer – formerly holding senior production management roles with two major UK studios, including Peter Gabriel’s Real World – my career also covers commercial advertising photography, video and games publishing, bringing over 20 years of commercial experience to the table.
My focus now is on helping creative people to get the most from themselves. It usually involves…
Project Management Working with large companies, the public sector and education providers to research, plan and deliver skills development schemes for industry.
Advice & Guidance Helping production companies to assess skills, identify gaps, find solutions, recruit new talent and plan for realistic staff development.
Workshops & Training Collaborating with specialist associates to devise, plan and deliver bespoke training and support to production teams.
…and often coffee and cake.
I am based near Bath, UK and am a Fellow of the RSA. To find out more, download my full CV or get in touch.
